The week of the 23rd June 2022 marked both Learning Disability Week and Cervical Screening Awareness week. Across the NHS, local partnerships are working together to find ways that cervical screening can be made more accessible for people with a learning disability. In the short film below, Jodie explains how she attended her first cervical screening appointment after her GP practice made the right adjustments to make her feel more comfortable and confident.
